Hello,
My name is Jennifer and I'm from Jonestown, PA. My boyfriend has always wanted a basset hound and one day searching the web we came across Kendra's web site. We send e-mails back and forth trying to find out different info. And one of the pups on her site, his name was Anthony, it is now Fred. Well let's just say it was around lunch time when we were chatting back and forth and later that same day we made a road trip to see the little pup. From where we live compared to Kendra it took about 2 hours to get there. It seemed like forever but, we got there and it was all worth the trip. When we got there we were greeted by many bassets and also we were greeted by Kendra and her hubby. They were such very nice people. The pups had the run of the house and the big fenced in yard. Well when we got into the pups we got Anthony to check him out and he was the cutest little man with his big floppy ears and his sad looking eyes. After seeing him we had to get him so w put a deposit on him and a couple of weeks later made another road trip to go back and pick him up. Fred is now 4 months and is 35 lbs. full of love, likes to go by-bys, likes playing with other animals, likes sleeping in the people bed (once in a while), likes meeting new friends and likes to be next to you on the sofa. Our little female basset, Zoey, has brought so much joy to our lives. She makes us laugh every day, and even though she can be quite contrary at times, she loves to cuddle and hive hugs and kisses - and just be near us in general. We couldn't have asked for a sweeter dog, and I'm very happy with her. If ever I'm looking to get another basset hound puppy, I would most definitely contact Kendra first. When we went to pick up Zoey and met Kendra and her husband, it was blatantly obvious that they love those dogs more than anything and give them the care that they need. I'm honestly not really sure how anyone could not love dogs - especially basset hounds! Zoey was wonderful addition to our little family (which is about to get bigger with a baby on the way!) and I truly feel our lives would be incomplete without her.

We picked up Gus last March. Hannah, our then 10 year old, now 11 year old daughter, paid for Gus and has been loving him ever since. I wanted to send an updated picture of Gus and Cody who continue to remain inseparable. I checked your website today and noticed that the picture from last year is still there!
